Tammy began drawing with a charcoal pencil around the age of 12, and improved as she grew older. But as her vision diminished, so did her ability to draw well, until she had to give it up after college. It became too difficult to see details and nuanced shadings clearly.

But Christmas 2009 changed that. Her son gave her a large-screen HD TV that he also set up as her computer monitor, so that she could more easily read emails and write and surf online.

She was amazed at how big and clear everything looked, and wondered if she could draw again by looking at her large screen. It had been years since she'd even tried. Since she sees best in high contrast, she found that using a Sharpie enabled her to sketch in a new way. She makes no money from her celebrity art.

Tammy has 1 painting, "Yellow Flower", acrylic.
